What Makes Us Different?

At Access2Learn, we don’t focus on a single stage of education or a single service.

Instead, we look at the whole person and the whole journey.

Our approach is unique because:

  • We focus on the learner’s perspective and lived experience.
  • We support individuals from childhood through to employment.
  • We recognise the importance of working with families, educators and employers.
  • We provide joined-up services that reduce delays and improve outcomes.
  • We combine specialist expertise with a genuinely person-centred approach

We understand that every individual’s journey is different, and we tailor our support accordingly.

Working Together for Better Outcomes

We work in partnership with:

  • Parents and carers
  • Schools and colleges
  • Universities
  • Apprenticeship providers

Meet the Team

Compassionate Experts Supporting Your Learning Journey

At Access2Learn, we’re proud to have a multi‑skilled team of specialists dedicated to empowering every learner.
Whether you’re accessing a diagnostic assessment, a DSA study‑needs assessment, 1:1 tuition, coaching, or assistive technology support — our team is here to guide you with warmth, expertise, and understanding.

We believe in accessible education, neurodiversity pride, and support that sees you as a whole person — not a condition, label, or report.

DSA Needs Assessors

Helping you access the support, adjustments, and tools you’re entitled to.

Our DSA Needs Assessors are trained specialists who work with you to explore your study requirements and recommend supportive strategies and equipment.

They are:

  • Friendly and approachable
  • Highly knowledgeable about Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)
  • Skilled at identifying barriers and matching support to your needs
  • Experienced in supporting students at all stages of higher education

Your assessment is a relaxed conversation — not a test.
Their goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and fully supported.

Diagnostic Assessors

Understanding your learning profile with care and precision.

Our diagnostic assessors are fully qualified practitioners who specialise in identifying:

  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia / DCD
  • ADHD traits
  • Dyscalculia
  • Working memory and processing‑speed differences

They provide detailed, evidence‑based assessments in a calm, supportive environment, always focusing on your strengths, not just your challenges.

After the assessment, they produce clear, comprehensive reports with tailored recommendations to help you thrive.

Neurodivergent Coaches

Supporting your growth, confidence, and executive‑function skills.

Our neurodivergent coaches work 1:1 with learners looking to improve:

  • Focus and attention
  • Routines and organisation
  • Emotional regulation
  • Motivation and momentum
  • Confidence and self‑advocacy
  • Working memory strategies
  • Planning & prioritisation

Coaching is collaborative — not clinical.
We help you understand your brain, develop practical tools, and build habits that honour your neurotype rather than fight it.

Literacy Tutors

Building skills, confidence, and independence in reading and writing.

Our specialist literacy tutors support learners of all ages with:

  • Reading comprehension
  • Writing fluency
  • Spelling and grammar strategies
  • Academic writing skills
  • Study and revision techniques
  • Structuring essays & assignments
  • Building confidence around literacy‑based tasks

Tutoring is paced to your needs, strengths, and learning style — no pressure, no judgement, just supportive growth.

Assistive Technology Trainers

Helping you unlock the power of your DSA‑funded tools.

Our Assistive Technology Trainers make sure you feel confident using your equipment and software, including:

  • Text‑to‑speech tools
  • Speech‑to‑text dictation
  • Mind‑mapping software
  • Planning & organisation apps
  • Reading and note‑taking tools
  • Accessibility settings across devices

Training is practical, patient, and personalised.
We show you how to integrate technology into your real study or work routine — not just how to click the buttons.

Every member of Access2Learn believes in:

✔️ Neurodiversity‑affirming practice

✔️ Kindness and respect

✔️ Person‑centred support

✔️ Clear communication

✔️ Empowering independence

✔️ Making learning accessible to all

You’ll always be treated as an equal partner in your own support journey.
