Directions

On Arrival

On arrival, please head to reception in the Student Centre in the Checkland Building and let them know you are there to see Access2Learn for a DSA Needs Assessment. Your assessor will then meet you and take you to the assessment room. There will be a short walk to the room, so if you have any mobility requirements please ensure you let the Access2Learn team know prior to your appointment.

By Car

The postcode for University of Brighton Falmer Campus is  BN1 9PH. Due to the centre being located on a University Campus, parking is extremely limited and we cannot guarantee any availability. A permit is required to park on campus and we would therefore recommend that you use public transport to visit the campus.

Blue Badge Parking

There is limited Blue Badge parking available on campus. If this is required, please ensure the Access2Learn team is made aware prior to your appointment to allow sufficient time for arrangements to be made.

By Rail

Falmer railway station is a short walk from the campus, Moulsecoomb is one stop away and Brighton mainline station three stops away.

  • There are up to four trains an hour from Moulsecoomb to Falmer (four minutes’ journey time), two an hour direct to Eastbourne (35 minutes’ journey time) and regular direct and connecting services to Hastings (70 minutes’ average journey time).
  • Visit the National Rail Enquiries website for timetables and passenger information.

By Bus

There are two bus companies running in the Brighton area, with a range of affordable fares and discount deals:

  • The  Brighton & Hove Bus and Coach Company runs services across the city, with tickets for limited services running past our Brighton campuses and a discount for NUS card holders on all services. Tickets can be bought from bus drivers, online and on mobile phone apps. NUS tickets must be bought from 1 Stop Travel on North Street or at campus shops.
